We do not sell your information. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you separately ask us to.

Who we share it with and where it goes

We share your information only with the providers that run our systems, and where the law requires it.

  • Capsule CRM. Capsule is a service of Zestia Ltd, registered in England. It stores your request and our notes about you, and processes them on our instructions under its data processing agreement. Capsule stores its data with Amazon Web Services in the United States, and encrypts it in transit and at rest. See Capsule's privacy policy.
  • Vercel Inc. Vercel hosts this website and provides our analytics. It is a US company and may process data in the United States and elsewhere. See Vercel's privacy notice.

Transfers outside the UK

Both providers use servers outside the UK, so your information may leave the UK. Vercel says it is certified under the Data Privacy Framework, which covers transfers from the UK to the US, and that it also relies on standard contractual clauses with the UK Addendum. Capsule publishes the transfer safeguards it uses for its US storage on its sub-processor page.

How long we keep it

  • Request details and notes: we keep them while we are in touch with you, and for up to [24 months] after our last contact. Then we delete them.
  • If you ask us to delete them sooner: we remove your record from Capsule. Capsule keeps deleted records in a trash for up to 30 days unless we purge them at once, and clears any remaining backup copies within 50 days.
  • Visit statistics: these are anonymous and combined, so they do not identify you. The identifier Vercel uses for a visit is discarded after 24 hours.
  • Hosting records: our hosting provider keeps technical records for a limited time that it sets.

Analytics and cookies

We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It does not use cookies. Instead, a visit is recognised by a code made from the request to our site. That code is reset every day, so a visitor cannot be followed from one day to the next or from one website to another.

For each page view, Vercel may record:

  • the time and the page address, with the query part filtered
  • the page you came from
  • your approximate location, such as country, region and city
  • your device type, operating system and version, and browser and version

The data is anonymous and used only for combined statistics. Visits from automated bots are not counted.

We do not use advertising, social media or other tracking cookies, so this site does not show a cookie banner.

Your rights and how to complain

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what information we hold about you, and give you a copy
  • correct anything that is wrong
  • delete your information
  • restrict how we use it, or stop using it for something you object to
  • move your information to another provider, where this applies

If we are using your information on the basis of your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawing does not affect what we did before.

To use any of these rights, email [privacy email address]. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or by calling 0303 123 1113.

Security and changes to this statement

Both Capsule and Vercel encrypt data in transit and at rest. We limit access to our CRM account to the people who need it. If a security incident is likely to put your rights at risk, we will tell you and the Information Commissioner's Office as the law requires.

We may update this statement from time to time. The date below shows when it last changed.
